Peter Bucci counsels clients in their selection of trademarks, providing trademark availability and registrability opinions.

Peter renders legal opinions concerning the infringement, validity, and enforceability of patents and opinions regarding product clearances and trademark searches and clearances.

He has prepared and successfully prosecuted numerous trademark applications.

Peter represents clients in trademark matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), including trademark appeals, trademark cancellation proceedings and trademark opposition proceedings.

He has extensive experience in litigation and counseling in patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, counterfeiting, trade secret, licensing, employment/nondisclosure agreements and contractual matters, involving a wide range of businesses. His responsibilities include intellectual property litigation, appellate briefing, litigation risk assessments for senior management, domestic and international trademark clearance studies, opinions, prosecution, and inter partes proceedings; opinions concerning patent validity and infringement, freedom to use clearance studies on new products/services, due diligence studies of intellectual property assets.
